JESUS BORE PAIN

We serve a Holy God-and our sin makes us deserving of His wrath. But His love— Jesus Christ-covered our sin! Thank Him and honor Him today for His never ending kindness over you.

NOT AGAINST FLESH

Our real battles in life aren’t against other people, but against spiritual forces of evil. It reminds us that the struggles we face are part of a larger spiritual conflict, we must rely on God’s strength and spiritual armor to stand firm.

WRESTLING WITH GOD

Jacob refused to let go until he received a blessing. God then revealed himself, blessed Jacob, and renamed him Israel, meaning "he struggles with God." This encounter marked a turning point in Jacob’s life, symbolizing his transformation and deepening relationship with God.

MINISTRY IS SACRIFICIAL

Discipleship is our co-missionJesus came to serve, not to be served. He was interruptible, available, and on mission-He never complained about having to lay His life down for His bride. He is our model for how to serve our neighbor, church, and family.
