A Cherished Gathering of Faith

The Seekers Community Group meets every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the extended area, past the Fellowship Hall.

This classic Acts 2:42 inspired Bible study group offers fellowship for adults with timeless hymnal worship; reading, discussing, reflecting, and applying of scriptural teachings; prayer; communion; and genuine community. While most of the Seekers are more than 60 years young, the group welcomes adults of all ages.

If you love the sound of a good old-fashioned hymn echoing through the Fellowship Hall, you’ll feel right at home here. Seekers keeps worship simple, powerful, and full of heart. Each Sunday, our Restoration Life leaders guide us through a time of praise that blends the familiar comfort of classic songs with the living presence of God’s Spirit. There’s something truly special about hearing voices unite on “How Great Thou Art” or “Blessed Assurance.” It’s worship that feels like a warm embrace for the soul.

Beyond the music, these gatherings offer a chance to pause from the week’s busyness and remember the faithfulness of God throughout every generation. It’s a sacred rhythm—singing, sharing, and soaking in the goodness of His Word. No flashing lights or big production, just pure worship and genuine connection, right here in Lawndale.

Through guided Bible study, heartfelt prayer, and open discussion, our leaders help us dive deeper into God’s promises while keeping the atmosphere light, joyful, and full of laughter. After all, spiritual growth doesn’t have to be stiff—it’s about joyfully becoming who God designed us to be.
