What Is Celebrate Recovery?

Real people, real struggles, real recovery.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program designed to help you overcome life’s challenges. It’s not just for addiction—it’s for anyone dealing with emotional pain, struggles, or unhealthy habits.

Through weekly meetings, guided lessons, and community support, Celebrate Recovery provides a safe space where you can heal, grow, and find lasting freedom.

"No matter your struggle—grief, anxiety, past trauma, or unhealthy habits—there is hope here."

The 8 Recovery Principles

Our recovery principles are based on the Beatitudes from the Bible. They guide you toward spiritual and emotional freedom:

1

Realize I’m not God

Admit powerlessness over life’s struggles.

“Happy are those who know that they are spiritually poor.” – Matthew 5:3

2

Earnestly believe

Put faith in God’s plan for healing.

“Happy are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4

3

Consciously choose

Decide to turn your life over to Christ.

“Happy are the meek.” – Matthew 5:5

4

Openly examine

Inventory of your hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

“Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires.” – Matthew 5:6

5

Admit wrongs

Confess and accept responsibility.

“Happy are the merciful.” – Matthew 5:7

6

Readiness to change

Be willing to release harmful patterns.

“Happy are the pure in heart.” – Matthew 5:8

7

Making amends

Restore relationships where possible.

“Happy are the peacemakers.” – Matthew 5:9

8

Helping others

Put faith in God’s plan for healing.

“Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” – Matthew 5:10

Resources for Your Recovery Journey
