Celebrate Recovery

What Is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program designed to help you overcome life’s challenges. It’s not only for addiction—it’s for anyone dealing with emotional pain, struggles, or unhealthy habits.

We believe that it is “for freedom that Christ has set us free” (Galatians 5:1) and this program is designed to help us find the freedom that Jesus has called us to! Through weekly meetings, guided lessons, and community support, Celebrate Recovery provides a safe space where you can heal, grow, and steward lasting freedom.

We truly believe that everyone can benefit from this Ministry. CR is a place where you can expect to be welcomed, safe and supported. If there's any hurt, hang-up or habit in your life that is holding you back from walking in all that the Lord has for you, CR is a fit for you!

Celebrate Recovery meets Mondays at 7:00 PM.

Celebrate Recovery: confronting

struggles, finding freedom.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that it's only for people who struggle with drug or alcohol addiction. That could not be further from the truth. In fact, 2 out of 3 come for an issue other than drugs or alcohol. Some reasons people attend CR are:

co-dependency, anger issues, sexual addiction, adult child of family dysfunction, eating disorders, control issues, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, people pleasing, sexual, physical, emotional or mental abuse, and that's just to name a few.

You are not alone. Our caring community walks with you, one step at a time.

The Road to Recovery

8 Principles Based on the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5

Realize I’m not God; I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him and that He has the power to help me recover.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ’s care and control.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5

Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God and to someone I trust.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8

Voluntarily submit to any and all changes God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Evaluate all my relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when to do so would harm them or others.

"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9

Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.

Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and my words.

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10

Resources for Your Recovery Journey

Each pamphlet is designed to offer biblical encouragement, practical steps, and real-life testimonies of victory through Christ. These resources cover specific struggles people face and provide a pathway toward hope and healing.

"You’ve undoubtedly heard the expression ‘time heals all wounds.’ Unfortunately, it isn’t true. The truth is, time often makes things worse. Wounds that are left untended fester and spread infection throughout your entire body. Time only extends the pain if the problem isn’t dealt with."
